Pizza Sharing

In Maths, we have been learning what the word 'equal' means and how to share equally. Our teacher gave us a pizza that had been cut into halves or quarters. We had to pretend to be a pizza chef and make pizza toppings with play dough. We then had to share the toppings equally on to each piece of the pizza.  

 

Building With The Mobilo

This week Jake has been really interested in constructing. He has been building vehicles with the Mobilo blocks. He explores different types of transportation and sees how different pieces can be attached. Each creation has a a specific task that it can do.




Today Jake made a long truck. It has a tail and battery on the back to make it go. It has a special tool that attaches to the tail to fix the battery.

Tricky Bridge Making

Jake and his friends decided to build a bridge today outside.  They did discover a problem! That at the end of the bridge the cars just flipped off. 

We wonder what you can do that will safely get the cars off the bridge?

Learning My Math Goal

During Math to Self time, Jake has been working hard on his math goal. He has been learning to write and recognise his numbers from 0 to 20.
